Poorly maintained, not for families
NOT RECOMMENDED. We took 2 apartments for two families. The apartment was very poorly maintained - it was difficult to unlock and open the door, shower had broken floor, water heater was dripping in the kitchen. While it's advertised to have AC, in fact there's only AC in the kitchen/hallway but not in the rooms - it was impossible to sleep in the hot summer night. While the reservation was for 5 people, only 4 beds had linens and there's nobody to assist during after hours. The only upside was the center location.

Check in was a nightmare! Performed afterhours required checkin. Received 2 seperate codes, both that did not work. Called and text emergrncy numbers. Never got a reply or pickup. Finally, 1 code worked after about an hour. Unit AC was off and over 30c. No AC operational instructions. After an hour, got the ac on. AC never got temp below 28c. Note to anyone who rents. These are private residences with different amenities. The good was the am receptionist who was very helpful in planning our days and covid tests.

Ideal accommodation to explore Trieste.
Arrived mid morning and was able to leave the luggage and go to explore the city. Check in was quick and easy and we were given a lot of information to help us to further discover everything that Trieste has to offer. The location is great. An easy 10 min stroll from where we left the cruise ship and even closer to the train and bus stations.
