Great Location / VALUE??
Great location within walking distance to Anne Frank house and trams to Rijksmuseum, Van Gogh and Stedelijk plus Leidseplein. Would consider the room somewhat overpriced for a barely functioning (super slow) elevator to get to the 4th floor. Pretty much need to take the stairs all the time. Mysteriously the room lacked any closet space and just had a few hangers hanging on a rack next to 1 bed. No view of anything through a small window but the neighbors 15 feet away and all that for nearly $400 for a weeknight?!? Friendly staff.

Amazing Hotel and Fantastic Location!
This Hotel was truly Amazing! It is on the most beautiful little canal close to everything you need, but not on a main touristy canal so it still has that idyllic vibe. It is worth paying that little bit extra for a view of the canal as it is so pretty. It is also very close to the Anne Frank House. We stayed in room 68 which was small but roomy enough for the two of us, however the bed was very small which is normal for Europe and pillows are horrible if you don't ask for better ones. Once we were given better quality pillows it was much nicer. There is a deluxe coffee machine downstairs which we would use in the morning and drink in our room. This actually saved us a bit of money too. There is also a lovely little communal area downstairs to hang in and get tea and a snack while you plan your day. An instax polaroid to take a photo and add to their picture wall. Also breakfast is available if you need it for extra cost. This hotel is a lot of fun! The staff were all incredibly helpful and informative. They also looked after our baggage on our last day before we left so we could wander the canals. We fell in love with the surrounding breakfast cafes like Kessens and fantastic Dinner locations like De Reiger. Such a quiet and relaxing area, you can walk everywhere from this location. We will definitely be back to Mr. Jordaan!

Exceptional 10.0
Service was spectacular, we were traveling internationally and our flight came in earlier than the posted check in time. They were able to accommodate us and have our room ready so we could crash for a few hours before exploring the area. The location is superb, so close to sites and restaurants of note in the Jordaan area and a quick walk to the tram line or even Dam Square.

Small rooms - Great Location
Everything about the hotel is great but the size of the room. For the price, you can probably find bigger rooms around town. Location is great though.
