Good for the price, helpful staff
It’s a very nice hotel for the price. It was quiet (our room was facing courtyard). It’s clean. I liked people at the front desk. All of them were nice and helped us a lot. Breakfast was good: you can ask for fried eggs (1 per person). There was ham and cheese, fruits, yogurt etc. It’s on a small hill, about 10 minutes walking from the main plaza.

Very nice stay
The hotel was very nice and the service as very good. The only thing that wasn't great was that the walls were very thin and you could hear everything going on in the rooms around you. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and enjoyed our time in Cusco!

Adventure to Peru
The choice of Estancia San Blas was the best one. In the old district which is now the artsy/foodie area. Hotel personnel were so helpful and friendly and most spoke excellent English (for us lazy one language literate Americans, lol) Hotel was a former colonial home so the three floors of rooms are all around an open courtyard Where there are tables and chairs to sit and read or just rest. Bath was eber modern (glass sink and shower door)), beds very comfortable and the crisp white linens were changed every day. Cusco itself is quite hilly but I would certainly stay at Estancia San Blas again.

Nice hotel, but, Beware of the Late Night Smokers
This property is not completely smoke free. The courtyard (or terrace, as they called it over there) attracts smokers (there were three ladies in dark clothing during my May 3 -May 7, 2017 stay) till the late night hours. Not sure, who they of them blew smoke at me as I walked by them going to my room! At one time, I thought I would be getting a knock on my door at 1 a.m. from one of them seeking a "date". My room (#106) is on the first floor and the courtyard is about 40 ft. away on the same level. I am a Buddhist, and am religious. The hotel staff should tell the smokers to quit or if they are go away. This comment is in addition to my earlier review as I stayed May 3 - May 7, 2017; and then again May 13 - May 16, 2017.

Nice hotel, but, Watch the Bathroom!
This is a nice hotel tucked away from the hustle-and-bustle of downtown Cusco. It is, however, within walking distance to most city attractions including Plaza Mayor del Cusco. The reason why I booked this hotel is based on a few very nice reviews from U.S. visitors. My experience is not a reflection of these reviews. First, there is no "business center". The management told me the desktop was removed because one of the clients damaged it with an infected flash-drive. They added it was going to be provided by Friday, but, this never happened, as I stayed a total of 7 nights. Second, is the issue with the shower stall soap dish. This is a glass dish, and it sits on a ring, about 4 ft. above the floor. The dish could easily be knocked to the floor by an adult soaping. As it did in my case. Luckily, I was careful as to where I step, and was not cut by the glass fragments - that would have ruined my upcoming trek. Ironically, I was made to pay for the broken glass soap dish!? Lastly, I was supposed to get a boxed breakfast as I had to join my trek at 4.30 a.m., but, the boxed breakfast was not available that morning. The only thing good from the hotel management is that they arranged for my trip to Cusco Intl. Airport in a car which cost me 15 Soles - far less than the taxi operators at Cusco Intl. Airport.
