Charming hotel w great breakfast in fun hood
I spent one night alone and one night w the friend who was meeting me there. The rooms are simple, but clean and off the central courtyard. The breakfast buffet was really good- fruit, cheese, ham, eggs to order, baked goods. It’s in the St Blas neighborhood- so that means it’s up a steep hill ( cab had a bit of a time finding it from the airport. ) but it also means it’s right near st Blas Church, creative neighborhood and beautiful sunsets from the church. The reception was easy and very helpful .only negative I can think of is that it is right off courtyard so you can hear folks when they’re walking by.

Great place to stay in Cusco - short walk to many restaurants (recommend the bbq place and Jack's place for food), but far enough away from the main plaza so you don't hear a bunch of noise all of the time. They make eggs to order every morning and have plenty of fruit, cold meats, cereal, yogurt, and breads to choose from for breakfast. The rooms are spacious and clean. They will help book a taxi for you as well. Only negatives was the bed was hard and room chilly even though we had a heater.

Two days in Cuzco
Reception and breakfast staff were really friendly and eager to help. Rooms were super clean, beds comfy and breakfast was better than expected, with plenty of fresh fruit, local bread and eggs cooked to order. If you are happy going uphill and climbing stairs, the area of San Blas is a great one!! The only downside for me was that only a few of the master suites have windows overlooking the street (which was my preference). Other rooms may be bigger, but have tiny windows that open into the courtyard. This is quite common with this type of Cuzco building, so it's not an issue exclusive to this hotel.

Clean rooms. Great Wifi. Hot showers. Only bad thing is the hike from the Plaza to Hotel. Altitude Sickness is no joke. Rooms have no great view of Cuzco.
