Great hotel in a great location
The staff are extremely helpful and friendly, and the room, while small is clean and the shower is modern and wonderful.

This place showed us what tough love really is
Our experience could have been better if the weather was more pleasant. But staying in a tiny room without AC when the temperature outside is approaching 35 C does put you on a "survival mode" real quick and wipes out the adjectives such as "quaint", "petite", "historical" that you kept telling yourself prior to the arrival. The hotel does not have enough electric fans to accommodate all their guestrooms, so if you are among those lucky ones, guard your fan with your life and tell her that you love her. What about the window? I'm glad you asked. Their windows open inward, which means you cannot close the curtain when the window is open. [This is where I apologize to whoever might have witnessed me and my husband trying to cool our lower bodies in various positions, bare chested.] Though occasionally you might be rewarded by an uninvited peekaboo from another fellow guest who is doing the same pose to stay cool, or some dramatic baby cry at 4 am. There's a shuttle van service to the airport, which is cheaper than a taxi (for a couple) and more convenient than public transit. But word of advice: know exact where you are going. Our terminal at CDG was 2E, the driver dropped us off at 2B and said you guys can walk... let's just say if you are physically competitive and don't mind spending 20 min jogging from one end of the airport to the other, you are in for a treat. Oh, I'd skip the 6 euro breakfast unless you can still get up between 7 and 10 after that 4 am baby-cry.

The outlets in the room were broken, limiting to one chargin station, and the street outside had partying until late into the evening. Not a bad thing, but tough to sleep through and get an early start with. We were recommended an excellent restaurant by the staff though.
