Great place.
We were upgraded so it was amazing service. Great location! Walking distance from train. And we just walked everywhere else. Safe lively area. Great breakfast. Clean and comfy room. And great price. I would definitely stay again.

great management
we booked this hotel, but when checking in we found out they didn't have any available rooms, so they made arrangements to put us in a much nicer hotel "Domus Florentiae Hotel" really nice management. great location.

You get what you pay for
The room is too small, we could barely open 2 of our luggage in the room. The room is next to the main street and it was very noise, we were awaken at 6am! Also the cleaning lady comes so early in the morning and we could hear everything she does. Noise control is ZERO. Additionally, there is no lift, you have to carry your luggage 3 floors up!

No air conditioner during the summer was rough at night because the rooms are on a loud street so opening the window means lots of noise all night long and lots of mosquitos.

A/C broken, horrible service, never fixed!
The A/C was broken for the entire time we were there, yet they wouldnt provide a discount or a fan when I requested! (Keep in mind, it was close to 90 degrees in Florence). I expect more for a hotel and recieved better accommodations at airbnbs than this hotel. Would not recommend staying here! We checked into our room at about 9pm only to discover the AC didnt work. The night receptionist offered us a bigger room in their hotel. (To check into Sabrina, you actually go to a hotel 2 doors down). Seemed reasonable-unfortunately, wifi kept dropping and the shower leaked. The next morning they tell us the AC is fixed and although the room is still hot now, it will be cool by the end of the day. So we pack our bags and drop them off in our original room. Around 5 we return, only to discover the AC still isnt working. We notify reception again-a guy goes with us to check it out and says hes calling a technician. An hour passes..nothing. We go to dinner, still not fixed. When we return to reception, we're told he cant provide us with a discount or even a fan. He can offer the same room we had the night before (no wifi, leaking shower) for 1 night only, since AC should be fixed the following morning. We decided to stay in our hotel room with no AC. Worst time sleeping-took my husband 2+ hrs to fall asleep since it was so hot in the room! And on our third night of staying there? Well, AC was still broken. Another torturous night in Florence.
