Wonderful I-90 stop in Butte
We really enjoyed our stay here while taking an I-90 break. It is a newly restored uptown Butte property. During our stay we walked upstairs for our room, which we did not mind at all. The owner said he was opening four more rooms downstairs for those who do not like stairs. We had supper at the Uptown Cafe, which was very good. It also had the best wifi I've seen traveling.

Bringing the old Alive.
This hotel is a work in progress, but they have done a great job so far. It is pricier than the surrounding hotels, has no elevator (lots of stairs) and offers no amenities (no fridge, coffee pot, microwave). The promised view didn't exist from the room, but there was a great one from the sitting room. The bed was very comfy, and the tv and air conditioner were great. Unique shower, and I loved the work to maintain the period architecture. I would stay there again, if cost were a bit more balanced, and a fridge would be nice.
