2 nights in Monteverde
Our stay was lovely once we got to the right hotel--the Hotels.com app directions sent us to a different hotel. The drive to Monteverde in the dark was a bit intense, so having to get back into the car and drive again after thinking we had arrived was tough. We had to wait a good 30 minutes to check in at the right hotel as the clerk was helping other guests arrange for ziplining the next day. No one to blame here, just a bit for our patience to take in that moment. The grounds were lovely, the traditional breakfast was delicious and the room was spacious albeit dimly lit at night. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

BEST stay at Monteverde on 2020 - 100% Worth-it
Our stay at Villa Lodge completely EXCEEDED my expectations!! The place is very nice and quiet, our cabin was big, clean and equipped with a small fridge, microwave, coffee maker etc. Breakfast was delicious every day and it was a lot. Everyone was genuinely charming and the manager was beyond amazing, went the extra mile with us multiple times when we needed anything, simply out of kindness. When we go back to Monteverde, we will definitely be staying here again. 10/10
