Unpleasant stay
We arrived after check in hours, had to call hotel to advise when arriving so that a person can meet us at location to check us in. There is an after hours check in fee. The address was hard to locate with Uber but the staff was very patient and courteous to assist us on getting to location. Some one was outside waiting for us, we checked in, paid fee, gentlemen was on site for 5 minutes then left. Once upstairs in the room, we found old cookies between the bed and wall, crumbs on the bed and heavy dust on bed frames. Due to the time we arrived, we were too tired to call and ask for another room. There was no a.c., which we were aware but the street noise was loud enough when window was left open. Since we had to leave early, again no one at front desk to discuss my issues, simply left the key in the drop off box. I would recommend management to check rooms for thoroughness of cleanliness.

Will not return
It started with a phone call at 23:15 the night before telling me they were cancelling my booking unless I paid in full. On arrival we were shown to a room where the window looked out onto a brick wall, the bedding was dirty and there was a dirty cup and empty water bottle. We were allocated another room which was very basic. The bathroom was so small you could stand in the shower sit on the loo and brush your teeth in the sink all st the same time. However it had a lovely big window overlooking the street below. A deposit of £20 is requested for your key which was returned when I handed it back, my issue is that I don’t always carry cash. Due to the room being so small it was very hot with two people in the room but a fan was provided. Best bit was the location great for Oxford street and close to the station

Poor 2.0
On arrival -fecal matter in the toilet - smelled like someone died in the room - complained to the MOD who did nothing - said the maids would take care of it - couldn’t stay in the room - asked for a fan as it has no air conditioning- said he’d get one - they don’t have fans - lied to us. Hot sweltering heat and a backed up toilet that we couldn’t use - had to buy two can of febreeze to be able to sleep without gagging- on departure- 2 days later nothing had been done to even try and fix it- the MOD on night two tried to fix the problem and he was never made aware of our room condition- he called the owner furious - the owner said - ignore us! I have this on a recording - DONT STAY HERE AND EXPEDIA SHOULD NOT PROMOTE THIS LOCATION- Sleeping in sewage is not only disgusting - it is unhealthy and dangerous to your health. DONT STAY HERE NO MATTER WHAT!! We should be reimbursed and will seek compensation for this hell!

Fair 4.0
The location is excellent unfortunately the state of the rooms not so .. I felt sorry for the cleaning staff only 2 people to clean 3 floors ! There was rubbish under the beds . Found a or dirty socks , crisp packets empty water bottles . Tv remote missing. Couldn't watch it Only one pillow each had to ask for more , mattresses seen better days . Good job we was out virtually the whole time . Only plus side was tea coffee making facilities and a fridge / microwave .

Horrible, dirty, small rooms. Hotel nightmare!
NOT recommended. It's the WORST hotel I've ever seen. 1. The actual room differs totally from the photo that the showed. Room photos attached. It's at the basement. Dark, dirty, dusty, and very small. No window curtain, so someone can stand outside looking at the room. The door latch didn't work. 2. The pillows were a little yellow. 3. The wooden bedstead was broken. I noticed it because the bed was not even. 4. The bathroom was even worse. Dark. No one changed the towel for me. When I turned on the shower, the pump (I guess) made big noise which sounds like someone who was buried in the wall was knocking it with anger. 5. The says "Comfort - Daily housekeeping." No, I stayed for more than one night but no one cleaned the room or changed the towel. 6. A good thing is the room was not cold, even the outside temperature was below 10C at night. All very dated and not kept to any standard. Simply a disgrace to the hotel business calling this 2 stars. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone.
