Very stylish and comfortable hotel with a distinctive New Orleans take on the Ace Hotel concept. Service was friendly and attentive. The food at the restaurant is fantastic.

The tv reception was on the fritz, the room was a little too dark, and no one called me back about my request to remove the alcohol. The employees were really welcoming and friendly overall and the blackout shade and shutters were great for sleeping.

The Hotel with Everything You Need
The hotel is amazing. Great coffee, cocktail bar, and restaurant all in the lobby. The highlight may be the heated roof top pool accompanied with another bar. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. All the staff were friendly. Staying here was one of the best parts of my trip.

Great Concept, Generally Poor Operations
The Hotel concept and restaurants are really cool but it is feeling dated and dirty already. The door staff is awesome. The desk attendants are nice and helpful but constantly plagued by understaffing in cleaning and restaurant staff. Each time I’ve had to wait far too long for a room to be open at check-in, a drink at the bar or a meal at the restaurant. Plus the rooms are already showing age, with dirty walls and dirty linens. I love the location but wish it was operated better, especially for the price.

My son who is 24 thought it was so awesome and will be staying there again. He loved its vibe. I prefer more luxury. Did not like the double beds and it was an older hotel with a modern, low budget (decor, furniture) vibe. Location was great for walking to Smoothie King Center and Bourbon Street. Hotels within walking distance. Was able to park across the street (not for hotel) for $38 a day, cheaper than vallet parking. Trolley passes right in front of hotel. Worst part was there was a broken water line near our hotel, not hotel’s fault, but there was a boil advisory and no water pressure. Could not shower! The hotel did post signs to let us know and did hand us bottled water to brush our teeth, etc. I did not ask for a discount because that was beyond their control and I felt they did what they could. They had a fully stocked bar and fridge, but a sprite was $5 and a small bag of chips was $6! The staff were awesome and really fun. I would stay there again if necessary, but it wouldn’t be my first choice as I like a little more comfort.
