Well designed rooms and relatively quiet during the week. Like everything in Midtown it's shabbier than it looks online, just because the number of people passing through. Air seemed purified and well ventilated. Staff seems overworked and the lobby is too small to feel safe in during pandemic times. But it's a great affordable option right now. Beds comfortable and clean.
The Moxy is a trendy boutique hotel. It was very packed and busy. It felt like it was pre-COVID. Unfortunately, some patrons did not maintain social distancing or appropriately wear face masks. Not the fault of the hotel. I do like their elevator system. My room felt like a fancy dorm room. The mattresses are not very great, but their shower is fantastic. Overall I enjoyed it. But I probably won’t stay there again.
Great place, love coming here 💯
The room was smaller than what I expected but still cute. Air conditioner was a little loud. Many things to do in the area and many places to eat.
We were so disappointed from this hotel, someone on 12 floor smoked weed all the time. I had a feeling that I was staying in a 2 star hotel with dirty corridors trash everywhere, and the inside of the room is for nudist or single customers because if you using the bathroom everything is see through so we taped all windows with paper. Elevator was stoping all the time for no reason for example if you need to go to 12 floor on 7 floor elevator stop and you have to go outside to press 12 floor again same was if going down.
Truly had an amazing time! Although times are different due to the pandemic, the staff truly ran a tight ship and made the entire process effortless. My favorite part about our sty is how they let us check in at ANY TIME on the reservation day. We had a brunch at 12pm and were traveling from PA for the weekend, the last thing we would’ve wanted to do was lug around all of our bags through the city. We checked in, which took no time at all, out our things down and were on our way. I truthfully do not have a complaint! Loved it!
The hotel was cozy and very clean. The elevators were the main complaint I had. They took a long time to come and due to Covid restrictions sometimes you had to wait even longer for a second one. Breakfast-to-go was not good
$100 security deposit at check in. You won’t receive back until 2 weeks. Key card to enter building never worked. I’ve stayed at many other moxy hotels and they give you a token for a free drink for staying at moxy but this location does not offer this.
Overall I had a wonderful stay. The staff was amazing and the place and rooms were clean. 10/10 would recommend
They show picture of the room on here and it’s all what it seems. The rooms are very small but aesthetically pleasing. If you don’t order a king size room you’ll be getting small rooms altogether.
