Rude staff
We travel frequently and can confidently say that this hotel has the worst staff we have experienced anywhere. This is a budget hotel and we don't expect much, however, basic respectful interaction with a guest should be normal. We stayed on June 29 for one night and our check-in was in the afternoon. We asked for help from the younger, tall, bald desk clerk, about printing a boarding pass from their lobby computer. He was dismissive and after we couldn't figure it out said "its a computer, how hard can it be? He came over and couldn't figure it out himself. After several minutes and lot of swearing, he was able to figure it out. He apologized and printed the boarding passes for us. He did apologize, but should not have been necessary to do so in the first place. We weren't sure what is going on there, but he was giving air kisses to some girls that were leaving and we asked for assistance on one thing and get that reaction. We speculate it is some issue with U.S. residents, as people with european accents were warmly received. We don't believe this was an issue on our end, as our entire interaction was asking to check in and then asking about the boarding passes. The rest of the hotel is extremely cheap and small. It looks newer and reminded us of a cheap dorm room / hospital room. The advantage is close proximity to the airport. For another $25 we could have stayed at a B&B. We do not recommend this place. Simply unacceptable behavior.

Bed bugs!
No lights in room upon checkin; took hours to repair; we were told that there were no other rooms available. Ended up with scores of bed bug bites the next day – previous location was a 3 night stay, so that was ruled out, and left on flight the next morning to return home. Had to steam clean everything as a precaution.

A lovely budget hotel
Perfect for what i needed, close enough to the airport and the tram to go into the city of Edinburgh. Very modern, clean and the staff were very helpful.

A simple hotel at a great price and near the airport. Perfect for a stay over before flying out. Staff was very friendly.
