Great Stay and nice rooftop setup
It was great stay and nice roomsetup for price. Staff was polite and friendly. location was walking distance to penang rapid stop, jetties and most of gerogetown attractions and Little india. hotel has nice self serve minicafe rooftop which adds a nice experience too.

Friendly staff.
Tiny but comfortable room. I was surprised there were no windows in my room but the next morning I appreciated it. I got some great rest due to the darkness. Close to some good eats. Plus I left my passport and the staff emailed me, facebooked, and help on to it until I could return to Georgetown.

You need to be more open about people asking for 1 extra towel or even an extra pillow. Also, please religiously change the bed linens.

Noisy, wifi not working.
The advertised wifi (which I needed) did not work in my room (because of their inadequate equipment), and they were unable to come up with a fix for this. Most nights there was considerable noise until 3 or 4 in the morning owing to sidewalk bar right next door, and they were also unable to come up with a fix for this. Spartan room with few amenities, though at least it was clean (save for the day the cleaners did not make it to my room). In light of this, the high ratings given by others are incomprehensible to me. Suggest to avoid if 3am noise or lack of wifi are a problem for you.
