Cozy with fireplace in our room
Loved this place, with a fireplace in our room. Spacious, cozy, simple breakfast- will come back.

Won't return
My husband and I flew in from the east coast to San Francisco and drove up to Fort Bragg to stay for night before our next destination. I wouldn't stay here again. Pros of the property: Comfy bed Nice warm blankets Outside landscaping was beautiful View from 3rd floor bedroom was nice Cons: When you first walk in, the reception or entryway smells old and unclean. It's not a typical hotel OR bed and breakfast. It's a cross without the good parts. The thing that makes me not want to ever return is this... I turned on the shower, got naked, waiting for the water to turn hot and realize it's freezing cold. I call the main number to the hotel and a sleepy lady said oh you have to go downstairs to the kitchen turn the water on in the kitchen to get the water hot in the room. Well here I am naked in the bathroom dying for a cold shower and the last thing I I want to do is to go downstairs to the kitchen. Luckily, my husband went down to turn on the water in the kitchen to make the hot water get hot in our bedroom. For me, that's a deal breaker. If you don't mind stuff like that, then it may be for you. We left unhappy.

Good place.
It was a great place. Big room. Close to the ocean, shopping, and food. Easy check in and check out.

Very Good8.0
Mix of an elegant B&B and a vegan commune
Place is a mix of an elegant B&B and a vegan commune. Room nicely furnished with antiques and beautiful window seat but carpet needed shampooing. Breakfast is vegan so no eggs or yogurt just nice breads, jams and peanut butters, and almond milk though someone sneaked in some half and half. You get a shelf in the refrigerator which is great but you cannot cook anything non-vegan in the kitchen. Nice deck in the back surrounded by flowers but the garden is primarily a vegetable garden. There are a couple of permanent residents who are learning to be vegan chefs. Everyone is very friendly. On the whole of bargain for the area.
