Trip got off to a shaky start with the room we were given had not been made up. However they changed it straight away. Could not get a meal at their restaurant as they had three coaches in.

Came to the Isle of Wight for the Ultra challenge and managed to stay at the hotel for two nights, despite the second night coming back at 04:00am. The night porter was kind to let my family and I in. Delighted that my room had a bath as it was much needed by the time I had finished the Ultra. The room was equip with everything that I needed and it was quiet. The only downside from me was the tea and coffee in the room didn't get replenished.

Not Happy
Arrived on Wednesday and the toilet was not working properly (not flushing properly). Maitence man came and said a part was needed but wouldnt be able to get it until the Thursday. Was unable to move rooms as no double rooms available and twinroom not suitable. Thursday came, toilet still not working. Asked for update and was informed no part still and no double rooms. Friday no fix, no update and then no hot water! Asked if I could check out early and obtain a refund, was told this would need to be done via hotels.com but the refund would be accepted. Refund has been rejected! Tried to contact the hotel but no response. Not happy. I will say i would have given higher ratings if these problems didnt happen as the staff are lovely and helpful. The rooms are clean and nice. We had evening entertainment that was great! Overall a lovely hotel but no customer service
