Sea Point on a budget
A friendly young hotel with a vibe and attached to a great market of many different food types.

Exceptional
Friendliest staff and best staff in SA, fab hotel!
Modern, arty hotel on the main strip of cafes/shops and 100 meters from prom and beach side pools. The service was first class, everyone from the cleaners to the managers were chatty and helpful and made our stay. They upgraded us to a wonderful suite as we were on honeymoon! Free bike hire was excellent. Would highly recommend.

Good
Good location, avery tiny room
There is a good internent connection and friendly people. The room was very small for one what about for two,it was very teribble.I couldn't even move.in addition, the bathroom has no door, which is very bad, look'slike we are living in the bathroom.

Fair
Nice hotel, ruined by other guests
The hotel is in a nice location, central to many shops/restaurants and a few minute walk to the beach. The hotel doesn’t have normal TV, but instead had Netflix and Amazon, and also the fastest WiFi I have experienced in a hotel (70mbps). The TV is mounted really high above the door which is fine while laying down but impractical in any other way. The room was a cube with no light (although a frosted glass with a blind letting in some light from the room adjacent if they have their curtains open can be seen (but I found this odd to be able to see silhouettes of other people so left the blind down). 148 our room stank of sewers, every time we walked back in we could smell it but got used to it after a short while in the room. On our 2nd night, a group of about 50 students and their teachers arrived and from about 8pm to nearly midnight all we could hear was shouting, chanting, banging on doors. I asked them to be quiet, complained to reception 3 times, but nothing changed for the better, so the next morning I found out they would be there again so left the hotel early and found another which was much more peaceful. Such a shame that it ruined our stay, if only the teachers and the hotel staff could have kept control, it felt more like a hostel than a hotel...
