I'll try to lead with a positive and note that the room itself is alright considering it is a budget hotel. Small in space, but two twin/full size beds fit with a small desk and chair. I had only a backpack with me, so it was fine, but I imagine it would be difficult to fit large luggage inside the room. There was a mini fridge that had not been cleaned out and a small TV on top. The bathroom was alright with basic amenities (travel toothbrush/soap). You check in at the restaurant on the ground level and go up a staircase in the back of the building which leads to the rooms. We were thankful there was an A/C unit that worked incredibly well, but then we encountered COCKROACHES. I hope that upon reading this review, the owners will do something about it. My friend and I ended up sleeping with one of the lights on to make sure the cockroaches wouldn't roam around us during our sleep (they are night crawlers, so cockroaches will disappear in the light). We decided not to extend our stay and found a different hostel after the second night. Despite the gross cockroaches, the location is great, right in the hub of the backpackers district of Saigon, near many restaurants, travel agencies and bars.
