Office staff very rude and unwelcoming. Room was ok, floors dusty and dirty, bathroom mirror dirty and soap dish had chunks of something in it. Bed was comfortable, TV did not work. A bit disappointing, we have stayed here a few times and never experienced rude staff or unclean rooms, not sure what the problem is. We will stay somewhere else next time.

Decent overall
Overall, it was a decent stay. The property is older but clean. Beds were okay and there was always hot water. The main thing I didn’t like was that the sink and shower drain’s didn’t drain properly. The sink wasn’t really a big problem, but the shower had a good 3-4 inches of water after I finished showering. I had to wait for the water to drain to wash my feet off and then rinse the shower off before letting my daughter shower.

Ok, but not great
Unfortunately there aren’t many choices for lodging when you want to spend a few days at Mount Rainier, and we figured this was a decent option. It wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t great. The room was mostly clean, but there was leftover pizza in the mini fridge from the previous guests, and the bathroom wasn’t as clean as I would have hoped. The bed was pretty uncomfortable, and we both had aching backs each morning. I think the next time we go to Rainier, we’ll probably look for somewhere else to stay. It was fun to see the elk on the property, and across the street, and Packwood has a great brew pub and burger place.

This hotel is very close to Mount Rainier National Park. The lobby staff were very friendly and efficient. Our room was very clean and well maintained. Overall a very pleasing experience.

Worst hotel ever. The bed is so little that you can barely sleep with 2 persons in it. The floor was dirty and dust everywhere

The curtain is transparent and the early morning sun shined through it and woke up everybdy. Our room is by the main road, and since the window is not completely shutdown due to the portable ac, the morning car driving by is noisy. The location is great to visit mount rainier. Less than 10 min from the entrance.
