This hotel is old and outdated, however the people who run it are wonderful. The little restaurant and bar on the property has good, inexpensive homemade food. I had the BLT, Chicken salad sandwich, Chicken tenders and cheeseburger & all was freshly made. Not microwaveable bacon or package chicken salad. The internet was terrible so that was a slight issue. The rooms are a bit outdated, no coffee pots, and could have been cleaner (liquids spilt on walls & chair was dirty) the beds are not very comfortable but they were clean! Make sure and ask them to plug in the refrigerator BEFORE you arrive. Breakfast is basic. Pool is huge. Mineral pool inside should be hot & it was cold. I believe the new owners just need time to get it up to date. We stayed for a softball tournament & it was fine for us & a couple teammates to grab some inexpensive food without having to drive around town. Golf course seems okay. I would definitely recommend a room on the second floor over looking the course. I did not like people hanging out outside their rooms in the parking lot. This made me feel unsafe because my door was facing outside. Overall is was fine just for a place to sleep. My major complaint is the parking lot people and the outdated rooms with no coffee pot. The rooms definitely need a deep
Cleaning. Maybe removing the carpet. Smells musty. But the staff were all very nice. Oh, they have an outside patio off the restaurant with live music.
