Hotel Socrates, Athens
Clean but uncomfortable
Nice hotel located close to Larissa Metro Station. On the plus side, the hotel is clean and quiet and the gentlemen working there are quite helpful. On the negative side, the bathrooms were like airplane bathrooms and the female working in the mornings and early afternoon made us feel somewhat unwelcome. The beds were very hard so both my hips got sore. The elevator can only take 2 people at a time with 1 large suitcase. As a family of 4, this was a tight fit.

Not like what it is advised.
The hotel is in the ghetto. The wife and I hated coming back to the hotel. We tried to stay out as much as possible. The restroom was very small and shower. The room was outdated and small. You get what you pay for, so I can't really complain that much. It's one step higher than a hostel.
