Cozy hotel
Dona Cotta was an awesome hotel, located right down the street from the square and also a street from the train station, making our trip to Machu Picchu seamless. Renato, was extremely accommodating and gave us great suggestions for things to do during our short stay in Ollantaytambo. The room was clean and well kept during our stay. We'll definitely be staying again!

We enjoyed our peacful stay at Doña Catta
We stayed 2 nights at Doña Catta as a way to explore Ollantaytambo before heading on to Machu Picchu, and we had a wonderful stay! Upon arrival we were greeted by Steven, who was very welcoming and helpful by providing details about the town's amenities, transportation, sights, food etc. He even packed us our breakfast to go the following morning since we were heading out early to catch the train to Machu Picchu. The hotel and rooms were simple but clean, safe, modern, and very well-kept, which was all we really needed since werent going to be spending much time in the hotel. There was a pretty good wifi signal, and the breakfast provided by the hotel was satisfying. The location turned out to be ideal too, because it was right in the town center--close to everything--but on a small side street, which made the nights peaceful and quiet. My only (minor) complaint: the mattresses were extra firm, which resulted in a sore back each morning! Some people dont mind firm mattresses but I wasnt used to it. Overall, I would recommend staying here if you plan to spend some time exploring Ollantaytambo and the surrounding areas

Great Find
We stayed at this hotel the night before our Inka Trail hike. It was great to stay in Ollantaytambo and get an extra 1 1/2 of sleep, plus the town is quite charming. This hotel was a good value and the staff was very friendly and helpful making us a bagged breakfast since we had an early check-out. The hotel is located between the ruins and the square with plenty of options for dinner a few minutes away. The hotel is basic, plenty of hot water and very clean - met our needs.

Simple, but clean and convenient!
This little guest house was conveniently located to the train station, the ruins behind the town, and the town itself. The hotel staff were also friendly and they provided helpful Information about Ollantaytambo and the nearby Machu Picchu. The guest house was very small, quiet, and clean. The private bathroom in the room was small, but it had a toilet and a shower with hot water. The hotel staff provide complimentary breakfast of eggs, fruit, bread, and coffee or juice. The bed wasn't super comfy, but given the price and location to everything, it's a great place if you're looking for something simple.

Great budget stay
This is a great little hotel for budget travelers. The location is fantastic, right by the ruins and close to all the action, but without being in the middle of traffic. Service was wonderful.

It was great! Room is clean, wifi works, TV and hot shower! Nearby tours, taxi and colletivo at plaza. All walking distance to ruins, markets and resturants.! Everyone at the hotel was so nice and helpful.

Good layover spot!
This place is perfectly suitable for a lay over night in Ollantaytambo. If arriving at night note it is off the main road over the bridge and not well signed. Only working ATM in town is a Global Net, ie: exchange rate nightmare. Clean, friendly, loud in the mornings, basic.
