Nice hotel, don’t expect flexibility from staff.
Overall good stay. The staff seemed too rigid. No coffee after 10:00, no food after 10:00, no business center, etc.

Great Place!
Great place! It's very close to everything downtown Winston-Salem. I brought my dog and there was no deposit or charge for him.

Fair 4.0
Overpriced disappointment
Disappointing. The hotel is marketed as a renovated 1920 hotel, which it is but that is about the only nice thing about it. We booked the “premier king with a cityview”. The room was small, and the view was of the building immediately across the street, so not much of a view. The faucet in the bathroom leaked under the sink and made a big puddle on the floor. We called the front desk and they sent someone up to fix it, but the fix was only temporary as a few hours later the bathroom floor was again wet. The shower had no door on it, so that too allowed water into the bathroom. Really dumb design IMO. And while watching some TV the cable TV kept cutting in and out. Which made no sense to me. The building engineer came up to make sure the cable wasn’t loose on the TV which it wasn’t. The bed was also uncomfortable. It sagged in the middle. We booked the most expensive room in the hotel, and we we still had to pay for the WiFi. The restaurant was quite good. Overall, over priced and a disappointment. It has potential but needs improvement.
