Location, Location, Location
This hostel still has to conquer some growing pains. There is ongoing renovation. They need to resolve certain outsourced staffing issues. Our room was never cleaned even though we were told each day after reporting that it had not been cleaned, that this would happen. The staff in the breakfast room made sure there was enough food on the table but were not otherwise too responsive. The people at the front desk, though, were extremely helpful and friendly. Please keep in mind that we had a private room with en-suite facilities. We do not know how things worked out in the shared spaces. It may or may not work out for you. Also, internet access was spotty in our room but very good in the common areas which was another issue that they said they were trying to address. However, if you're looking for the best location in Lisbon, you can't do better than this.

Easy access to old town
Friendly staff and always ready to help. Easy access to Public transports (tube, tram, bus) if you like to walk it’s easy to go to marques de Pombal, Restauradores, Rossio, terreiro do paço, cais do Sodré, Chiado, Saldanha. If you like to have fun, you came to the right place. Bairro alto is the best to get restaurants, and pubs.
