Old world charm, a perfect stay!
Our stay at here was one of the best travel experiences our family have ever had. We (couple with 2 teenage daughters were in Russia for the 2018 World Cup. The Ekaterina is on Imperial Russia’s millionaires street. A short walk to the Winter Palace/Hermitage Museum. It is a historic property, refurbished into a hotel. Our room was enormous, had an antique feel, but fitted with modern amenities. The staff were excellent! The attached restaurant was top notch. We enjoyed Saint Petersburg, & the Ekaterina fully enhanced our stay.

For art and history lovers, the place to stay
We vacationed in St. Petersburg for only three days. Not enough time to give this beautiful city justice. However this hotel is expensive but great. Front desk people were very helpful. Restaurant was great but expensive. This hotel was built in 1850 and completely renovated several years ago. It is build around a central courtyard. With the changes in the levels in the hallway you can get lost. But, it is within walking distance of the Hermitage, which is why it is so expensive (It is located on Millionaire Street), 6 blocks from the winter palace. Don't be put off by the unimpressive reception area, the rooms are old style but very comfortable.
