Superb 9.2 From 1,025 reviews

Poor 2.0
Poor management, service and attention to detail.
Poorly managed hotel that is in rapid decline. I previously stayed at this property several years ago and had a terrific experience (which makes my recent stay all the more disappointing). Upon checking in, nobody offered to assist me with an obviously heavy bag I was juggling with another smaller bag (in spite of eye contact being made with several of the hotel staff), I did not receive a complimentary bottle of wine that was supposed to be included during my stay. The mini bar contained expired snacks and the room hadn't been properly cleaned (dirt, grime and hair visible in the bathroom sink and bathtub) and debris on the bedroom floor and desk. Having booked for several days, I was disappointed to see that housekeeping was unable to service was my room in a timely manner and I had to go down to the desk to request that it be cleaned during the afternoon (again this was not properly done and there was dirty and grime left in sinks and the desk had clearly not even been wiped down). During my complaint about the housekeeping, I was advised that I must have left the do not disturb button on (which I hadn't), and then the staff member tried to explain to me how the privacy button worked like I was an idiot, in spite of me explaining that this wasn't the cause of the issue and that I knew how they worked. They then asked me if I still wanted my room cleaned. Will not be staying here again and do not recommend.

Exceptional 10.0
Perfect place to spent a couple of relaxing days
We spent 5 days here an wished it was more. Everything is perfect in this large resort that never feels crowded. We had a shell room and it's honestly amazing in size and amenities. As other have said, the resort is beautiful. Breakfast is one of the best I have tried, and it includes consistently exotic fruits and everything else you may want. Design is unique. Adult pool is perfect. Most of the staff is very attentive to needs. Easy access from the Airport (300 BHT Taxi and 10 min ride). Enough happening around the resort (restaurants, beach, small shops, massage places) to keep you occupied for a while. Really the perfect place to spend a couple of relaxing days. A few things that could be better: Food quality doesn't live up to the standard of the resort, and it's very expensive. We had delivery a few times and one meal out of two disappoints. The Black Ginger's food was disappointing as well (but the restaurant itself is a piece of art), gym opens up only at 8, too bad for early birds (why not provide access through a keycard like other places?), and PLEASE remove the additional beds from the end of each hallway (last picture). I understand it's convenient for the staff (how often do they need to add it anyways?) but it creates a look of a 3 star cheap hotel. Despite the few areas of improvement (food being the most impactful) I would go back to this hotel in a heartbeat.

Very Good 8.0
From the moment you set foot in this hotel you feel like this is a very special place. Warm, friendly, professional and impressive. For most part, you are treated as a valued guest, nothing is too much trouble. The Valet parking attendants and bag personnel were great. Pavarin at Reception was exceptional, nothing was too much trouble. Pavarin took time out to have a quick chat and tell me about the hotel offerings and the many options I had over my two night weekend stay. She was impressive! The Primus rooms are pristine, large, full of natural light and double glazed and very well appointed. Five star fit-out! Everything a guest requires including complimentary internet with good speed. The one disappointment was my woeful experience in the Wilmot Restaurant. The floor staff, professional, friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. The chefs performance in the open kitchen would make Gordon Ramsey blush. When is a blue steak, not a blue steak? When it is served medium and four chefs in the kitchen stop work for a caucus. Clearly, only the floor staff wanting to resolve the issue and ensure I received a meal. I chose to leave. I have never experienced a scene like it. Thank goodness for the maître de and his considered waite staff. I forwent breakfast both mornings and would never consider returning to the Wilmot. The Coffee Pitt does a great breakfast with Tobby's Coffee 50m from the Primus front door. I'll be heading back there to eat!

Very Good 8.0
The property was located in such a central location, walking distance to basically anything you can think of to do in Sydney. The staff were incredibly friendly, and the general amenities of the room were great (TV, Coffee Machine, Bar Fridge). I was disappointed in the cleanliness of the room, for such a nice hotel, there was mould in the bathroom, and it had not been cleaned properly in quite some time. We were only given 2 towels, even though there were 3 guests. Overall our stay was very pleasant but for the cost vs quality, I would probably not stay again.

This hotel looks beautiful and Staff friendliness is wonderful at this hotel! We arrived at 9:am after out 14 hour international flight. We knew it was too early for check in and just wanted to leave our bags. The woman at the front desk not only took our bags but allowed us entry to the pool area for a shower, knowing we had been in route for such a long time. She also took our phone numbers, texted us when the room was ready, and had our bags automatically placed in our rooms. My only regret is that we didn’t stay longer!
