Smoking rooms on a separate floor and great view
View of pond and temple is wonderful (request lake view room). Park view also is pleasant. Both smoking and nonsmoking rooms. Smoking rooms are on one floor so smoke bothers no one. While western hotels often discriminate against smokers, this hotel demonstrates respect for everyone. It is unusual to find an affordable hotel in Tokyo with a lovely view. Extensive amenities. Unfortunately the room cleaner often did not replenish the coffee and tea but I could obtain more at the desk. I found the beanbag pillow uncomfortable but could get a fluffy soft one at the desk. This was my third visit. All I needed to bring was dental floss and body lotion. Included toothpaste and brush, comb/brush, razor/shaving cream, cotton swabs, makeup cloth, washcloth, shower cap, hair band, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. Nice but simple bidet. Desk staff speak English. Next door to train from Narita airport, park, museums, temples, and shopping including groceries.

Great location, comfortable, and clean!
Great location as its right outside the Keisei Line Station if you are coming from the Narita Express train. Located close to Ueno station also. The hotel was clean, nice, and comfortable! Just a FYI the double room was hard to fit two bags of luggage as there is no closet in the rooms, they give you a luggage stand and 4 hangers.

Good location
Good location, easy access to the airport. Rooms are small but this is Tokyo, beds are very comfortable, nothing to complain about the hotel. Had a good stay.

Good 6.0
Great location but a room is miniature size
Great location. Very close to subway and JR station. Many restaurants, convenience stores and department stores within walking distance including famous Ame-Yoko. Only downside is that the room is very very small. We couldn't even open our suitcases on the floor. Bathroom is also very small. You wouldn't fit it in if you are a big American.

Very Good 8.0
Mediocre hotel in a great location. Very small hotel room and bathroom. What they consider to be pillows are the worst I’ve ever encountered at a hotel. Toilet is so close to the wall you have to sit at an angle. One day housecleaning took all the bath towels and left none. The location is great. Right next to the Keisei line which is where the Skyliner train from Narita Airport drops you. Ueno Station is also steps away for easy connection to subways and JR lines. Adjacent Ueno Park houses the National Museum and is a nice view (instead of another Tokyo skyscraper).
