We had a terrible experience overall. We visited for a wedding for a good friend and flew into the Bahamas directly. Upon arrival the AC was out (which is listed as an amenity offered) after a few hours the front desk called our room to let us know the AC for the entire resort was out and it should be fixed in a couple hours. It wasn’t, we slept in a 87 degree room. The next morning, we asked about the AC and they told us it would be fixed by noon- it wasn’t, we again slept in a 88 degree room, our friends wedding had absolutely no AC so after dinner we took the dancing outside to get some air flow at least. A room was offered to our friends and elderly family members at a sister facility but rooms were limited so we stayed at the property again for a third night with the temp reaching 89.8 degrees. No air flow either. Stagnant air. The next morning our friends decided they didn’t want this for their wedding party and moved hotels and so we went to the front to also cancel the remainder of our stay, we were told we ant get a refund because we stayed at the other sister resort WHEN WE NEVER DID. We were told this will be resolved, that we would get 100-$150 per night we stayed in the heat and a remainder of the refund for the night we did not stay and paid for a new hotel out of pocket about 10 miles away. And so we are STILL, 5 nights later battling for a refund. We have not received our $100 for each of the three nights we stayed or our money after leaving the hotel.
