Very good, clean, basic hotel room, well located.
Very helpful and kind, responsive staff. Room was a little cold on a rainy night. Wonderful rooftop view in cafe.

Clean hotel but pricey
We had a nice friendly staff picked us up from the train station. It was helpful because it would be quite difficult to find it on our own especially it was in a small alley up in the hill. However, the lobby should provide some water for guests. There was a water jar and I thought we could have some after the long hike from train station but the staff said it was for another group. We had a room with 3 beds but they only gave us 2 small water bottles. Where's the 3rd? Finally, when the big group left with some water in the water jar in the lobby, we had to beg for some water from the staff as we just climbed down from Machu Picchu. The hotel is concerned about conserving their water. The breakfast was good.

Great hotel
Our stay at Waman hotel was great. We arrived around 11pm tired from our long journey there. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. They gave us great information on how and where to buy our tickets and bus passes for Machu. The room was small but perfect for it needs. The shower was great and the complementary breakfast was perfect in the morning as they started service at 4:30am. We really enjoyed our short stay.

Good overall, but some big annoyances
Overall hotel was good, but wifi was very unreliable, and room was noisy since it was located below the restaurant. Front desk staff was friendly and well intentioned but wasn't able to actually help much when asked questions. Location was good, but the town is small.

Great little hotel
Stayed here for 3 nights and it was a great little Hotel. There were 6 of us all together with 3 rooms. Rooms are clean and the staff is great. Breakfast very good with a variety of egg dishes to choose from as well as breads and fruits. I believe our room was 564 (it was directly across from stairs going up to restaurant. I don't recommend this room due to the noise from above. Was okay for me because I sleep with earplugs. Free pisco sours in the evening and small desserts set out in the lobby in the evenings. You do have to walk up the hill to the Hotel and the street in the back of the hotel is filled with great restaurants.
