Great Place for Price
We recently stayed here for a birthday/NOLA 300 Anniversary trip. The hotel staff greeted us and the check in process was very fast and easy. The room was clean and comfortable. The bed is extremely comfortable. The decor choice of purple, black and white was really on trend. It’s close enough to walk most places. We Uber-ed from Jackson square after a long day but otherwise walked everywhere else. The only thing about the hotel was the elevator was a little sketchy. There’s a broken spring that makes an awful sound every time you go down to the lobby. It was a perfect stay for the price point and location.

The experience at check in on the first day was great, we were super thankful and excited to get our trip underway. That's about where it ended. We don't spend much time in our rooms when traveling, so top amenities aren't important to us, but this place was lacking in the basics. Housekeeping was so inconsistent, nothing was ever fully cleaned or replenished, even after making a request at the front desk. It looks much better than it did when it was Hotel 504, but we likely won't stay here again.

Very Good8.0
Affordable luxury light on amenities.
Great value for location and room. Asked about availability of upgrades while checking in and was just given one for free, which was really great. Suite was nicely appointed, bed was comfortable. Location is good. A 5 minutes walk to the French quarter, streetcar stop out front, and the express bus from the airport drops off half a block away. Some homeless out front panhandling at all hours, but we never felt unsafe. While the room was quite nice, the hotel seems significantly understaffed for the level it’s going for. While the staff was friendly, there was no bellboy on staff, we ran out of hot water for one day, and we were only ever given two towels. No conveniences for sale like Tylenol or snacks, not even a vending machine in the building. Stay here if you want a 3-4 Star room for a 2 Star price, skip it if services and extras are important.

New hotel!
Nice location. The hotel is just opening so no room service or bell hop but they have a great restaurant downstairs! Also no parking but there’s a garage right behind it about $20 for 24 hours. The front desk girls are awesome and we’re so helpful with more than just the early check in we asked for :)

Our recent stay
Spot was nice. The room was kind of small for the bed size though. Also the door didn’t fit flush for the shower. The shower knob was labels wrong as well (ie hot/cold). We enjoyed the spot and will probably come back to check it out again.
