Pretty good stay...
This hotel is in a great location - although we only had 1 nights stay. We were a little less than a mile from the Duomo - our only point of interest while staying here. The room was very clean and great size for 3 people with and extra twin bed for sleeping. Our only complaint would be how warm the room was even though outside temps were cool. The bathroom was extremely hot - there was no way to change the temp with the thermostat. It was like a fixture on the wall just for looks. The staff at the front desk was very helpful - they brought a hair dryer to me because the one in the bathroom was not very good. The breakfast was adequate - not great but good that it was included.

Booking Not Guaranteed
I would not recommend this hotel. I had a recent booking that was not fulfilled. I arrived to Italy on a Monday at approximately 7 pm (the first night of my honeymoon) and after a long flight, day, and arriving to the room with 3 full suitcases, my booking was given away and I was not provided with a room. The reservation was for 2 nights and I arrived on the 2nd night. The hotel said that they gave up my room as I was not there on time and therefore canceled it at the end of the first day. Keep in mind, I paid the full price for both nights. When I arrived, they said they were fully booked and had no option for me to stay. I then, at 9:00 p.m., had to find another hotel and pay another 160 euro to stay the night. No refunds or accommodations were offered. The guaranteed booking was not fulfilled, even though “guaranteed” online. I will not be returning or recommending this hotel, as this is very poor business in my opinion. There are many hotels in Milan and I would highly recommend to stay at another.

Good hotel but not the best of locations
The location is a bit of the beaten path in Milan and you will have to walk to get on a train or subway. The hotel was good and our stay included breakfast. While we asked for a king bed, and were told we would have one, in reality we got two twins pushed together. On the first night we stayed there, there was a birthday party two floors up and you could hear the music up and till midnight--not the best situation when coming off 20 hours of travel. Understanding that it was Milan Fashion Week as well, the manager took a pretty "deal with it attitude" and we think just chalked it up to us being complaining Americans. If that hadn't been an issue, or the management had a bit more empathy, the experience likely would have been a whole lot better.

If only they’d had a deodorizer
We were extremely impressed with the people who work at Bianca Maria. We arrived very late, 1am, and the receptionist was kind and helpful. We thought the hotel was lovely. Our room was attractive and comfortable. The shower was great! We had two complaints. After arriving so late and not having slept for two nights, my wife and I slept for 13 hrs. After awaking, we left for about 3 hrs to come back to an unmade room. We understood the late time of day vacating the room and were not too annoyed, especially when we requested more towels and they were delivered quickly. Our main problem was a bad odor in the room which we could not discover the source. We slept for a long time to find the odor still present when we awoke. After telling the staff, their solution was to spray perfume around. We would still recommend this hotel to our friends.
