This Hotel has some of the BEST staff i have ever encountered! Very friendly, humble and helpful ie,Shalom & the young lady he works with , Ali, Bosco, Yadema, Phillip, Musa,Joy, Jean, Neville, Jadore & Restaurant Manager. Having stayed there for more than 8 days,the admin/owners need to address the issue of RATS & CLEANLINESS. My stay would have been excellent if at all my property wasn't destroyed by RATS that i found at this hotel. If it wasn't for my fiancee & the Grace of God, i wanted to leave immediately because that is unacceptable. Also change the towels and the sheets they were always looking dirty and not sanitized (off brown but not white with zero fresh smell). That being said the MAJOR disappointment of my stay was the manager of this Hotel Chaliste. Integrity is a very expensive character to have and to my conclusion he needs to invest in pursuit for that. Chaliste it was you who offered us lunch and dinner, fix my luggage & free airport drop-off. I and my fiancee accepted your apology&offer b'se we liked the people and wanted peace plus we had just gotten engaged. To my surprise while checking out they asked me to pay for the lunch and dinner that the hotel had offered as compensation to the damage. Font desk agent called Chaliste for advise &said he said Hotel will only pay for lunch & i pay for dinner. He didn't have courtesy of explaining why b'se it was late in the night & he was asleep. I paid but that left a bad taste in mouth.

This was a very nice hotel with good staff, large clean rooms with views over Kigali, a good restaurant, free airport pickup [drop off is $13]. Compared to another hotel in Kigali where I stayed recently for a stop over at about the same price, this was much better. Note, at 5pm it took about 40 minutes to reach the airport due to jams.

Property had rats, roaches, it was dirty, there were leaks that flooded the lobby. All of the pictures posted online are untrue and maybe from 20 years ago, if I’m being nice. They do not maintain the property at all, there is mold and mildew in the rooms and hallways from lack on ventilation. You couldn’t pay me to go back to this hotel.

The service at this hotel was outstanding. Superbly accommodating staff, timely and professional transit, and huge rooms which were spotless. My only complaint is that they could be more attentive to minor repairs and aesthetics in the rooms.

My stay at 2000 Hotel was memorable. The staff were amazing and I want to thank the staff. My only disappointment was the restaurant at the hotel. One of the mornings during breakfast I asked for cappuccino and one of the employees open the cappuccino machine, there were roaches out crawling out of the machine.
