Has better options in Kyoto for less price
The hotel is in central area ubicated, good point. Upstairs dont have showers, so if you wanna take a shower you need to go downstairs and go to the spa and them get back to your bed! Bad point here! Breakfast average/ok. Nothing for other planet. No amenities. The bed are ok. The spa the swimming pool is sooooo hot the water. I can take a bath here because was so hot!!! The staff is a little rude and with basic basic english. I took this hotel because was only the most cheaper, but the next day I moved to another one third times more cheaper and triple good!

Hotspring Hostel Worth the Stay
Great for a capsule style - clean and comfortable. The Japanese style hotspring is a great relief after a long day walking around Kyoto!

I Would Stay Again
I stayed an extra night here and upgraded to a premium capsule. I would highly recommend that over the basic as there are less capsules in the area and they are twice as wide and even have a bit higher ceiling. I had a bad night sleep due to the lady assigned above me. I could hear everything she did and she must not have been feeling well. It was very difficult to sleep. This has nothing to do with Centurions Service or cleanliness, etc. Just a warning that the capsules are extremely easy to hear through so you may want to bring ear plugs if you’re a light sleeper or average sleeper. The room was spotless and I saw the cleaning ladies really doing a thorough job in the morning. This is a great place if you’re looking for something that is economical, centrally located to the train station and Gion, and is kept in great shape. The staff are friendly and there is a bit of a language barrier but they do try their hardest to help. One must remember that they’re not supposed to speak English so WE should be the ones prepared to know the translation to help. A translator app goes a long way. Also, I was pleased to see people of all ages staying here since I am middle aged.

Exceeds Expectations
My first time in a capsule hotel. I stayed in the women’s only cabin. It was very clean, the capsules were larger than anticipated (I could raise my arm up while lying down and only the tip of my finger would touch) and shared bathrooms were on my floor, along with lockers to place valuables. The staff were friendly and helpful and most spoke enough English to communicate well. The onsen on the ground floor was nice and clean as well. I did find it a little inconvenient that the showers for all were on the ground floor. I did find them to be immaculate though. For the cost of my stay I couldn’t really complain much. If I visited Japan again I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. I felt safe, comfortable, and centrally located to train station. Overall a great stay at an economical price.
