Very Good 8.0
Very well appointed single. Air/heat worked well. Snacks in room reasonably priced. Great shower. Only gripe is that curtains didn't totally close which let street light leak through all night. Location opposite three cafes. Plenty delicious food options on New Rd and nearby Commercial road. Not many pub options nearby though. Whitechapel just a bit outside Zone 1 but the Whitechapel tube station is a short walk with good access to District and Hammersmith lines. Would stay again.

Good basic hotel, convenient for central london
The staff were very friendly, room was clean and bigger then expected. Bed was comfortable, tea/coffee facilities. Handy for tube (Aldgate East and Whitechapel) and buses 15, free parking nearby on a weekend Area very multinational so good selection of eateries

Poor 2.0
Worst hotel experience in my life
I had a terrible experience with my stay in this hotel. I booked two executive rooms with king size beds. As soon as I entered the room, i immediately went to speak to someone at the front desk. I asked them where are my executive king size rooms. Their king size bed could barely fit 1 person. Don't be amazed with the pictures online. It's all edited and taken by professionals to make it believe it's real. So avoid this hotel with all cost. The hallway and elevators are so tiny that two people can't walk at the same time. If you are a tall person, you won't fit in the bathroom. You will bump your head with ceiling because the bathroom is like an attic. Just take my words, you will be so disappointed with your booking. Don't trust any of the pictures online.

Is not convenient if you have a child. The apartment is 3 story stairs and we have a bag and stroller to bring upstairs. Location is far from train station.

Sucks
Hotel staff is not nice, they never said good morning showed smile. They are even absent during day-time. And the circumstances are a little bit scary. Stay at other accommodation if you have some money.
