With code sent by Expedia my granddaughter and me entered this property! The shock we had is beyond imagination! Dirty, cigarette smell mixed with the cheap air freshener and a rooms like a bomb side! Dirty and no covers or bedding! One moment drunken and dirty looking man appeared behind us and we were running out for our life’s. Sitting safely back in the car, we were shaking from the shock what we saw! I was in tremendous distress because I had my granddaughter and nowhere to stay! There was no chance to stay in this property and I new I need to contact Environmental authority to check this building! I can’t call it hotel! Pictures on the website are scam! I couldn’t find any accommodation in Pwllheli and not in close vicinity! Nearest accommodation was in Aberystwyth and I took it because there was no choice! I will not recommend to anyone experienced what we did!

Expensive for what it was. Very basic.
Phone did not work in the hotel. No basic toiletries.
Shop below had noisy deliveries from 4am which woke my son up.
Fine for corporate work but unsuitable for families.

The Victoria Pwllheli
This is not a hotel. It is just rooms above a closed, run down pub. To get in and out of the rooms you have to go through a door where there are always young men outside smoking. The entrance and communal stairs are dated and don’t smell very pleasant. The room however was comfy and clean. We just wanted a one night stay to explore the area but would not stay here again.

Quick overnight stop
Hard to find hotel due to satnav but when we got in we got in the hosts were extremely welcoming and friendly. It was just somewhere to lay out head for the night. We were very comfortable on the top floor and it was spotlessly clean. Plenty of drinks provided. Enjoyed our short stay
