Tiny House Fans - Welcome
It was beautifully renovated; however, the room was tiny. It was barely enough room for two people to pass each other without jumping on the very cozy, plush bed (lol). But at least it was very comfy. It had a mini kitchenette, which was convenient and made good use of what little space was available. The shower was an even tighter fit with barely enough room to make a full rotation, but was still gorgeous to look at. I give a high-five for the wonderful décor they used. It made for a fun, quaint getaway. They're on a very busy strip; lots of clubs around, which made it fun. However, unfortunately, my car window was smashed when I unwittingly left my XM radio receiver in plain sight for someone to steal. This was after being warned by the innkeeper not to leave anything of value in the car while parked on the street in front of the hotel. I thought I grabbed it but it was overlooked. My fault. But it sucks that it had to happen nonetheless. Oh yeah, enjoy the ride up in the antiquated elevator from the 1930s. It too is tight fit so don't bring too much luggage.

Not as pictured
Feel kinda hoodwinked by hotels.com. Sent me a cheap rate but non refundable. When we arrived it was on the edge of a kind of dirty area. A lot of homeless. One man offered to sell us drugs. The room was really really tiny. A double bed pushed against a wall with no room to open our suitcase. and as our trip continued we realized how unclean the room actually was. Grime in the shower, and roaches. The bed was clean and decent. The room had no ac which is fine but the window also didn’t have screens so roof pigeon feathers kept coming in. We didn’t feel comfortable or clean here. It was ok but not as pictured or promised and we felt trapped by a sale rate. Won’t stay here again.

Centrally Located!
We loved everything about the hotel, except for the lack of parking. It was centrally located to all sightseeing spots, which is nice for tourists! We loved the authenticity of the building and the bedroom view was amazing!

Cheap and cozy
It’s definitely great value if you’re trying to stay in San Francisco for a few nights, in our case we were coming from a local area for a night on the town. It was a little unusual to have the lock set up as it was and it was confusing on how to actually get into the hotel not to mention there was some suspicious stains on the wall right next to the bed… But the staff was nice and the finishes are updated and there’s definitely some charm to this little place.
