Fantastic find in Rome
Everything was amazing. The location is perfect, the room was clean and very well-insulated and service was fantastic. ( American travelers should note that check-in times are much earlier than hotels in the US but this worked out better for us).

3 nights in JB Relais (Luxury)
We were shifted to their other location JB Relais Luxury because of issues with our original choice but it was not a big problem for us. The new location is in an old building with an old elevator and still walkable to all the major attractions. The shower seems to be an afterthought that was retrofitted and hot water takes abit of time to arrive. But it was no big issue though as our stay was very comfortable. The highlight for us though was the little coffee shop just below the apartment where we have breakfast daily. They serve the best cuppacino and croissant we had in Rome. Highly recommended for a quick bit before the daily tour starts.

Great value for money room in lively area
The location is right on the Campo di Fiore, one of the liveliest parts of Rome and great if you're a party animal! However, not easy to get taxi as its on a pedestrian zone. JB Relais is not a "hotel" as such. Its an apartment converted into three rooms. The room is cleaned and there is a small breakfast provide by Elena and Christina each morning. However there is no "reception" - you get a key and let yourself in and out. Although it's in an old building, the room is clean and modern Ikea-furnished. There is a lift, but you have to talk up quite a few stair to get to it so if you're less mobile it could be an issue. The nearest metro and rail is about a 20 minute walk and taxi's few and far between in this part of town.

Welcoming and Wonderful
Me and my boyfriend recently stayed at JB Relais and had a fantastic time. We were really warmly welcomed by Cristina and immediately helped out with getting tickets for major attractions like The Vatican and The Colosseum (highly recommend getting tickets over the Internet before you go other wise you have to wait in long queues in the hot sun!) Our room was clean, airy and homely. The bed was so comfortable! Elena got breakfast ready for us in the morning and it was delicious. Wifi was excellent and the local area fantastic for exploring. Cristina very kindly wrote out all restaurant recommendations for us that were in the local area. It was our first time going to Rome and we were able to walk around with ease and the help of a tourist map. Although the the hotel is in a busy area we had no problem at all with noise. We had a great time at JB Relais and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Rome.
