The motel is nothing like the pictures at Hotels.com For one thing there is NO POOL as shown in the pictures, and it is NOT a two story place as shown in the cover photo either. The motel blames this on Hotels.com but I am sure they could fix it if they wanted, but a pool will pull more people in. There was a pool there about 15 years ago so that picture is that old. Outside our room were nasty chairs and cigarette butts everywhere, above the chairs was posted a sign designating the area as a "smoke free" area (that's our room window next to the fire extinguisher) but the bucket used for cigarette butts showed that this was the common smoking area for the people LIVING THERE IN THE ROOMS. They had to take a smoke break at 3 AM and sit in front of our room window and talk. The picture of the lawn is where the pool was 15 years ago, compare that to the picture in the listing. Inside the room was not much better, very run down and not the cleanest. When I approached the desk in the morning the "co-manager" (can we say co-owner?) was very surprised at my complaints and said she would discuss it with the other manager. She did call later and said they would give me a credit of $20.00 on my $72.00 bill which they did, but it is quite obvious that this is the general condition of the place so they are choosing to turn a blind eye on the issues.
