The staff couldn't have been more helpfuI! The food in their restaurant was homemade and delicious. It I s in a quiet and scenic location with a castle which we had fun exploring. My first impression of the outside was that it was typical for the area, but not beautiful. I loved our cozy, comfortable stay there!

Lovely inn in a lovely town on a lovely island
Fantastic traditional breakfast and we enjoyed delicious cask ale and scampi at the attached pub. Staff were very friendly. Walked over to check out beautiful Castle ruins and the shore. So quiet and peaceful in this town. Surprisingly good water pressure. Thin walls but quiet respectful neighbors. Suggest getting a sandwich at the Sandy station across from the ferry before you leave.

One night stay.
The hotel is very basic. Really a pub doing B&B. It's used by walkers and those looking for a quick bite. Food is ok but like the 'hotel' it's overpriced and not value for money. The cooked breakfast tasted of 'nothing'. Not to be be recommended.
