Casual cozy hostel
Loud, wacky, cozy, friendly: these words describe Hostel One Prague. It has a youth hostel vibe to it, friendly, informal, and a little raucous. If that’s not your thing, maybe think of a hotel. But if you’re up for meeting nice new people, eating at a community dinner table for free dinner every night, and getting really crazy at night if you like to drink, go for it! I stayed at the women’s only room, and it was safe and clean and welcoming. The location was good for walking to the trams, or you can put on comfortable shoes and walk to the busier areas of Prague—it’s doable and I did it, but your feet will hurt most likely by the end of your day. The desk is open 24-7, there’s an ironing board to use in the hostel if you’re obsessive about ironing like me, good WiFi on each floor, and hot water in the showers. There’s no free body wash/hair wash stuff in the showers so bring your own, you’ll need to rent a towel if you don’t have one, and some of the wall sockets didn’t work in our room so be careful of that. Other than that, it was a great stay for 2 nights!

Great place with great hosts
Great place to meet new people. The environment was great and the hosts were amazing. They offered plenty of activities for you to stay busy even on long stays. (FYI WIFI sucks here)

This was my favorite hostel I have stayed at in Europe. Everything around is so cheap, and hostel has a very chill vibe.

This place is one of the best places I ever stayed. I wish I had spent more then two nights in Prague just so I could have been in this atmosphere for longer. This place is the perfect place for a solo traveller, they organise not only pub crawls, free dinners but also day activities such as paddle boating as well. The workers were all absolutely phenomenal and knew everyone by name. The place was clean and in a great location only about a 15 minute walk from the main train station and downtown.

Wonderful experience...
Highly recommended for any kind of stay... Really enjoyed my stay in Hostel One Prague, the people makes the difference at this hostel, I felt part of a group of friends from the moment I arrived. The dynamic at the hostel is great as they have a different plan every day that always finish on a party for those who want to follow up. Met great people and I have to congratulate the great staff team who makes the hostel environment as if you were at home. Special thanks to Johnny who was always looking after people... Lewis, Monica, Rob, Price, Mot, Marcio and Andre, made me feel always welcomed and I give them great credit on my experience, never change my friends!
