Lovely setting look forward to return
Beautiful setting And property. . Only gripe would be this king size bed should be in a larger room. I noticed queen sized beds in larger rooms which did not make sense to me.

Artsy resort!
Loved this place!!! They are so creative and turned this space into an unusual art space that is inviting and comfortable. Lots of different spaces to hang out, nice bars, great drinks and food, friendly service, free live music, a theater... you never have to leave! Plus a comfy bed. I wish we could have stayed longer

Had a wonderful time at the Kennedy school. Lounged in the soaking pool, watched a movie and played pool in the bar.

Unique and cozy.
Our room was very cozy and unique. The lack of parking was a big issue. Thank goodness we drove around long enough to get a space.

That's So Portland
Such a bizarre and fantastic hotel. Staff was super nice and accommodating, rooms were oddly wholesome and old-timey, and they packed a ton into these facilities. Only bummer was the internet was unusable bad, but can't complain too much when there were so many classic books to read waiting int he room.

Brings New Meaning To "Going Back To School"
A true delight. I stay away from home in hotels often - it's rare I find a property as pleasant an experience like this one. Beautifully restored, respectfully upgraded, comfortable, fun, educational and quirky. Be warned TV addicts - there are none in the rooms. There is an on-site movie theater though, and several fantastic bars. A great place

Word of caution for the money....
I enjoyed the idea of the place and the art work. Just a word of caution. If you are a person of color service and quality of that is reflective of dominate society values. I was shocked since it was Portland. This was everywhere from check in to bar service. It was really too bad because regardless of what I did enjoy the employees attitudes took away from that. Just a small note I have waited years to go here and had heard so much good things - I don’t think I’ll go again. I also had to let the front desk know that I had been bitten up by something in the room. Just be advised.
