A well managed and very friendly guest house
This is a well managed guest house that provide all basic need for traveler. The owners and staff were very friendly and ready to help. As vehicle cannot pass through the street, the helped us to get our luggage to the hotel. They can also arrange transportation for their guest and provided all information needed. Highly recommended for travelers who need a place to stay before or after visiting Machu Picchu.

Thank you!
Everything was wonderful. We loved our room (double with private bathroom), the terrace and breakfast were amazing, and the 2 women who run it are so lovely. It was perfect for us. These pictures are views from their 3rd floor terrace.

Great views/service, very basic accommodation.
First the good. The service was excellent and the staff were wonderful. They really helped us out and offered great suggestions. The rooftop breakfast area is also wonderful. Nice breakfast. However, the other reality is this is a pretty basic guest house. Rooms very small and very basic. For the price, it is OK. Not clear how this is a 4.7 rating. Generally, this rating is reserved for really special places. There are some really nice guest houses and hotels around the area. If bed comfort, bathrooms, and space are important to you, this may not be the place.

Fabulous, Friendly, Beautiful Guest House!
We really enjoyed our stay at Kamma Guest House! The property was incredibly communicative about our needs prior to our arrival. They emailed me several days in advance with options for transportation from the train station (taxi or tuck tuck or walking). We chose walking and were able to find the hotel rather easily after asking a policeman on the street. Reception also answered several of our questions via email regarding transportation back to Cusco and about area tours and things to do. Probably the best communication prior to arrival that we had anywhere in Peru our whole trip. Those in reception were incredibly helpful and welcoming upon our arrival with area information, restaurant recommendations, etc. Our room was directly off reception and had comfortable beds, working wifi and a hot shower! The terrace on the 3rd floor was a wonderful place to drink tea and have breakfast. Again, amazingly friendly staff and eggs made to order in addition to delicious bread, yogurt, granola and french press coffee. We loved it! We were able to keep our bags at the hotel the next day after check out while we hiked several ruins and were able to come and go to use the restroom, etc. We also got honest information about the massages in the area (they said to get them in Cusco). It was a bit noisy in our room due to a wedding party nearby but the reception offered us ear plugs and we had no issues sleeping. They take visa but prefer to be paid in cash. A FABULOUS PLACE!

Cute hotel in a beautiful town
We had a rough check-in but after we were checked into the right room, things were good. The hotel is on a wonderful street! The neighbor across the street likes to play his music very loud in the morning but sitting on the deck outside eating a delicious home cooked breakfast was perfect! The views are incredible!

Great experience
This place was an absolute delight to stay at. The staff was very friendly and they always locked the front door behind you after leaving. There are very few rooms here which is nice. The highlight of the stay was eating a fresh, made to order breakfast on the rooftop terrace. This alone was almost worth what we stayed here for. My fiancé and I recommend it!

We stayed here on our way to a Machu Pichu. Our experience was so exceptional that we decided to stay again on our way back. The owner speaks fluent English and was balky to provide us with invaluable advice. Cheap bottled water and the most stunning view from a breakfast nook that you can imagine. You want to stay here.
