Quality exudes
Simple to operate fully enclosed shower by simply turning the water spout to control where water comes: the spout, overhead or handheld sprayer, better than average shampoo and body wash. It has multifunctional toilet seat even has a blue light that lets you find the toilet at night without turning on a light. Room size is not big but comfortable even though it’s windowless, room seems well soundproofed. The lavatory is outside of the bathroom with enough counter space for toiletries. There’s a small back massager with infrared heat, needs to be plugged in though. I understand from a family of three from Denver that travels only with backpacks that there’s laundry facility in the 9th floor (requires walking up stairs from the 8th floor, There’s also a snacking area on the ground floor that serves tea eggs and corn flakes between 7 - 10 AM, lots of various packaged snacks and boxed drinks, puddings. Very comfortable hotel that’s near the Taipei train station. I understand there are three other Via hotels in Taipei.

If you visit Taipei, choose this hotel
We stayed in this hotel for 4 nights. Closed to the train station and walking distance to many attractions.

Excellent Hotel Choice
Overall stay at the Via Hotel was satisfying. The staff members were very helpful and always greeted guests with smiles. The snacks and drinks throughout the day were a plus!

Great value at great location
Best value for money hassle free hotel located near the Taipei train station. The front desk is very accommodating in all concierge services. The 24/7 complementary snack and drink and breakfast offering and free diy laundry and dryer facilities render the stay enjoyabke at super affordable rates.

Good location
Located in the city centre, only 10mins walk from taipei station. Room is clean and well equipment. Love that the electric sockets come with adaptor already, it's very convenient. Free snacks and drinks available in the lobby and the resting area is good The red light on the ceiling facing the bed is very annoying. And the dripping sound from the pipe is quite disturbing at night. Hope the hotel cam fix it.

Poor 2.0
Very noisy ... not worth it
I spent 4 night at this hotel and it was one of my worst hotel experiences. The hotel is a small building cramped between other buildings that are making a lot of noise. The hotel walls and doors also have minimum noise isolation and you can hear piping and doors getting opened and closed in the hallway. First night I had one of their window less room that felt like e prison cell (for $75 USD) and next days I paid about extra $20 per day to get a room with window. In both rooms though the day and night I heard noises coming through the walls from next buildings which I think were commercial. Overall considering that for a bit more you can get a room in a proper 4 or 5 star hotel in Taipei, it was that total ripoff. I am not sure how they got their good ratings on booking.com and other websites.

Great for short trips, good location, clean
Just a one night stay, not my first time at Via hotel. Location is great, room is clean and has everything you need for a short stay. Cheaper rooms dont have a window which is a plus or minus depending on how you see it, but for a quick trip to Taipei, especially if you dont plan to stay indoors, this is a good choice
