The staff were fantastic. They went over and above to assist us. These new rooms have much more space and pleasingly updated. There was however a slight damp smell in our room.

Great accom!
This is the 4th time I have stayed here. It is very convenient and close by to my family for when I visit. The accommodation is excellent and is not a typical "pub accommodation". This time i was put in the new section which is attached to the hotel and not in the separate building. Standard and quality was high. Bed was comfortable. Shower and bathroom a decent size for a studio room. The room has hooks to hang things up which I think is much better than a cupboard. Has a mini fridge, and a few plates and cups. Could do with some wine glasses, but I was able to grab one from the bar with no issues. TV has chrome cast options I believe but I did not use it. Staff were friendly at check in. I really can't fault the place and will continue to stay here when I am in town to see my family. Oh, I guess my only suggestion would be to have some more lighting in the room. I do like the ability to have more light when getting dressed etc.
