This condo is close to the Convention Center, was relatively inexpensive, was clean, had good AC, and a kitchen, beach access, and Internet for $3/night, all pluses. However, the refrigerator in the unit I had screeched at times; had to turn it off to sleep. The security chain on the door was broken and there was no deadbolt. There is a 7/11 store next door.

NYE in Cancun
Good value for the price. Right on the beach and had a kitchenette inside to allow for cooking to save some money. But the hot water only ever barely got warm, the doorways are set up to where there’s a door that can be closed to the hall and the other doors left open so it’s adjoined, but our keys don’t work in that door and out neighbors locked us out twice. They also only provide one key which is a pain if everyone is coming and going at different times. No in-room safe. No terrible, but not great. Just expect to get what you pay for.

Basically a good experience but with some annoyances. We stayed at five different hotels on this trip. This was the only one that charged a fee for WiFi service ($10 per day), and it was the poorest WiFi service we expereinced, slow with many pauses and interruptions. No TV cable service, only 4 antenna based channels.

I love how close the locations was.
It was close to restaurants and night clubs. The hotel is small and the kitchen is in the corner. My room only had the two beds but no couches like the pictures showed. It was a bit cramped. And the bay groom was also small.

the room was clean. the water was hot. could use a new shower head. sink drained slow. no safe. no coffee maker in room. pool was clean. small restaurant on the property. on beach. hotel was in the middle of everything. grocery store a few blocks away. many restaurants. nitelife was great. had security on premises.

Salvia Cancun, very Nice Stay
Very nice. All Condos so the rooms all have kitchens. Very good security. We will stay again. We were in the Salvia bldg. Note: when we booked it was they Cancun Hotel Zone and we did Not know where we booked until we got to Cancun and called for location. O had seen this hotel and at first glance did not consider it. So when we were told it was the Salvia we balked and attempted to rebook elsewhere. In hindsight it was wasted time as we really enjoyed our stay here, low key, no "Westin" type of glitz, clean with friendly staff
