A Jolly Good BnB
Mark and Simon's place feels like the last of a dying breed. In an upscale neighborhood where properties are purchased in the millions of dollars, this family operated & owned BnB still offers quality service & comfort at an affordable price. You simply cannot beat the location. We picked Lynton House initially because of it's location close to Victoria Palace Theater for Hamilton. We were sold on it by fellow travelers reviews on the warm reception and breakfast. The neighborhood is gorgeous. It's within a short walk to Victoria Station & surrounded by many restaurants and cafes. It's also a beautiful walk over to the V&A. I recommend a route down Pont St to enjoy the architecture. Frankly, it can't be stated enough. You feel so welcomed here. Mark was on hand to greet us when we arrived, exceedingly helpful with any questions, & he makes a delicious English breakfast. In the breakfast room, fellow travelers are talkative, warm & friendly as people discuss their plans & travels. Many fellow guests are repeat customers, which shows that quality & care matter here. Mark takes time to learn guests by name & as he works his way through the breakfast room, asks, by name, if you need anything. It's a wonderful touch. You even may hear a serenade or two from the kitchen. While the accommodations aren't luxury persay, they're charming, clean, comfortable and spacious. My 1 suggestion would be to install a full length mirror in room 1. Short people like me will thank you.

Mark was so much fun I loved our visits and he was beyond helpful with ideas of where to go and what to do. We loved the patio off the first floor. Many restaurants just around the block very easy acess to train. Rooms are quaint but very small, beds are moderate comfort and without air conditioning it was a very hot space. I would refer someone yet encourage a cooler time of year. The breakfast is amazing!!!!! Thank you

Compact and bijou
The property is really a three story townhouse. If you have lots of luggage, request a room on the ground floor! Humphing two cases up the stairs is most certainly a work out. Thankfully the staff are lovely, and they helped me with my cases. The room had everything in it, but it was a little tight on space - compact and bijou.

Wonderful stay!
Stayed for 8 nights while we explored London in May. The room and bath were indeed small, but after looking at previous reviews we fully knew what to expect. Not a problem, we were there to sightsee not lounge around in a room. The price was most fair, the accommodations were clean and comfortable, the location was tremendous, and the owners (Simon and Mark) were wonderful hosts. The breakfast, included in our price, was great and allowed us to get energize before a full day of exploration.
