Not cleaned well
Grossly unclean. We were sticking to the tile floors in the kitchen and bathroom so badly we had to use a towel to wipe them off, which gave an up-close view of how long it’s been since they were deep cleaned. Visible dirt and grime around the edges. Doors, walls, couch were all visibly dirty, and the bathroom looked/smelled like it was growing things. If we’d gotten there earlier in the evening we would have left. Maybe the housekeeper knew how bad it was, since she tried coming into the room at 8:30 in the morning while we were still in there.

TP shortage continues…only at this hotel.
First we like staying at Homes2Suite when we travel. We’ve stayed at this one in Sugarhouse a few years ago and it was great. This time it was disappointing. Run down and very dirty room. The bathroom door lock was broke and they said they would look at it but didn’t. Therefore the door would slide partially ope. When you were in the bathroom. Weird when you have your family staying in one room. The bed covers were stained and looked gross. The couch cushion and chair were stained. The carpet needed shampooed. It felt sticky if you walked bare feet on it. To top it off we only had the toilet paper that was on the roll. When we ran out the second day we asked for another and they ran out!! The whole hotel was out! They said another shipment would come that afternoon and we could use tissue until then. We already were but seriously. TP shortage at a hotel is not cool. Maybe it’s just the poor management at this particular Homes2Suite, but I’ll still stay at others. Staff was nice though so there’s that.

Has EV charging
Three EV charging stations out front. Coffee shop on one side and Walmart on the other. Our view was blocked by a wall and utility area but other than that the stay was good. The most annoying part was that they quoted me $75 for the pet fee and charged me $150 for a one night stay.
