    Good 6.0
Aside from bad wifi and bugs, it was a decent.
Pro: It is probably the closest hotel from the pier and the location is very convenient. The breakfast is also very good and there are a lot of options. The Hotel is average, but aside some issues (listed below), it was comfortable. Con: Wifi is terrible and it did not work for me. There was better Wifi at other stores and restruants rather than the hotel. There are bed bugs. I found two on me when I woke up from my sleep. I called the front desk and security answered. Security does not speak English. After a while, I got in touch with the manager who told me that I had to actually capture a bed bug and show him so that my room can be changed. It was completely ridiculous for me to spend time looking for a small bed bug. Also, there is no elevator so you may have to walk up five flights of stairs (depending on where your room is located). Electricity only works if you are in the room. So when you come back to your room, it might be very hot and it will take some time for it to cool. Lastly, note that they check who you are when you go back to your hotel to make sure you are not bringing anybody back to you isn't allowed.

    Never Again!
My husband and I had a terrible experience with this hotel. To start off we had booked two nights with the hotel January 5th and January 6th. Tropical Storm Pabuk hit the island of Ko Phi Phi the same day we were supposed to take the ferry to the island. The government canceled all ferry service to and from the island, so we had no way of getting to the island to check in. We attempted to contact the hotel, but because of the storm, wi-fi and cell service were spotty, and we were not able to contact them. We figured we would just take the ferry the next day and try to get a refund for the missed day, but the hotel refused to refund us the missed day saying we needed to contact them the day before to get a refund. We tried to explain the situation that we had no way to get to the island to check in or contact them because of the storm, and they still refused to refund us. To make matters worse, once we were able to physically get into our room, the air conditioner was broken, and we had no hot running water to take showers. Our bed was also very hard and still had sand in it from the previous occupants and neither my husband nor I were able to get a good nights sleep. If we were able to get a refund I would have given this hotel 2 stars, because of the location is very convenient and right next to where the ferry docks. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone!

    Exceptional 10.0
Clean, Friendly - will stay again
Just a few minutes walk from the pier - easy to find as you can see it. Great view from room of both sides of the island. Quiet - can not hear the beach party music at night. Nice pool. Breakfast was good - made to order eggs and good buffet. Ram - the bellman was especially helpful with good info on things to do! I was caught in the rain one afternoon and was under a store canopy. Ram was leaving work with his umbrella - saw me and walked me back to the hotel.

    Very accommodating!
My boyfriend and I stayed one night at the Phi Phi Hotel in early August. We booked a same-day reservation and arrived a bit early. The reception staff were very kind, welcoming, and efficient in checking us in a few hours ahead of schedule. The hotel is very clean and in good condition, and is in the best location of Tonsai village: near the pier and every convenience, yet not in the midst of all the noise and bar traffic. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet next to the pool very much, and would have enjoyed the pool too (very cute and clean), if not for our plans to hike to Long Beach for the day. Our room was simple, spacious, quiet, and clean. My boyfriend didn't like that the shower was positioned over the toilet in the bathroom, and with no shower curtain, making the whole area wet, however this style is not uncommon in hotels in the area. The beds were firm and very comfortable and the air-conditioning was great too. Again, excellent location for convenience and price- super close to Lo Dhalum Bay, which many people like as a calm swimming beach.
