This is one of the cleanest and most organized hotels you'll ever find in NY. I was very lucky to choose this hotel to bring my boyfriend and celebrate his birthday. We were able to check in early which is a huge plus for us because we didn't want to carry our luggage around NY. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Alisha checked us in and she is the sweetest and nicest person. She had a great attitude and welcomed us with a big smile. We were welcomed with 2 glasses of champagne, water bottles and snacks. I told her it was my boyfriends birthday and she wished him a happy birthday. Once we got to our room, everything was spotless and we were pleasantly surprised that we got a room in the top floor with a view. I had requested that through messaging with the hotel and they were able to give me what I requested. The hotel is very modern looking. It was absolutely amazing. The closest has lights inside so when you open it everything is lighten up, the mini fridge is inside, and you also get a few hangers. The bed was king size and the TV actually had cable not the cheap kind. After me and my boyfriend came back from exploring NY we were surprised with a slice of chocolate cake and a birthday card from the hotel. You will not regret staying here. Definitely recommend. Thank you Alisha, the hotel is lucky to have you and thank you to the housekeepers they truly do a great job at keeping the hotel clean and ready for new guests.

Very Good 8.0
The room we stayed in was small, but this is typical of a NYC hotel in this area (garment district). Aside from this, the staff was very helpful, kind, and cheerful. The room appeared to be recently remodeled and the workmanship, materials used, and design of the was excellent. The shower was fantastic and the bed very comfortable. Because the staff was friendly and helpful and the recent renovations, I would recommend this hotel to others. *A word of caution, the hotel attempted to charge a facilities fee at checkout. This fee was not mentioned on Expedia's website, nor by anyone at the hotel. In fact, no one who worked at the hotel could clearly explain what the facilities fee is or what is for. We did not use any extra services of the hotel that would render such a charge. The best the front desk staff could give was that it was for the bottles of water and peanuts given at check-in. I do not believe that two bottles of water and a couple bags of peanuts warrant an excess $32 fee. Furthermore, this fee is on top of the "resort fee" that is charged by most if not all hotels in NYC. I believe most hotels in NYC are also resorting to this undisclosed fee tacked on at checkout to unsuspecting patrons of their establishment. Now with all of this being said the staff was kind and understanding and waived this fee without argument. I was also willing to pay it had it been disclosed during the booking process through Expedia. Again I would stay at this hotel again.

Nothing special; will try a different place next time. The entrance isn't in a very nice place. Room had a view of a construction site, not any of the advertised views. Comfortable bed, but linens were clearly dirty on one side, up by the pillows (how could housekeeping miss that?). Some lights were wired oddly, with switches so far away, you couldn't see if they did anything when you flipped them. No lock on the bathroom door, which is always uncomfortable in a hotel. "Offered" champagne at check-in, while simultaneously being pressured/expected to pass on it. A chocolate pretzel was handed over the desk along with the room key. When a room says "candy and champagne on arrival" you expect that IN YOUR ROOM, not shoved into your hand and briefly mentioned (then swatted away) over the check-in desk. Disappointing. On and off, there were people sitting in the lobby being rude and rowdy toward people who came through the doors, and they were left to do that despite staff standing 4 feet away. I don't understand why that was okay (even if they were other guests). Bag hold service was quick and efficient, which I appreciated. Bed was made and towels replenished while out. Same dirty sheets. Didn't use any of the facilities, but was still charged around $70 for facility fees at checkout. Some have said they'll waive it if you argue. No interest in arguing with staff over policies they don't set; if the charge isn't needed, then it shouldn't be charged, period. It's just "meh."

Serious Hotel Issues....
It was the worst hotel stay I’d ever had. They hotel has great people and relatively good facilities for a 4 star hotel. First night, it was a false alarm that went off at 3am, we were told to stay put in our room and wait for further announcement and it came at about past 4am. I missed a business appointment because of lack of sleep. After taking note of my concern, the guest relation officer sent me an email apologizing for the incident and inconvenience. Second day was drain fly issues which I took photos and sent and agoain received an offer to transfer room plus an apology, and just on our way out of the room to go to my previous days missed appointment, a guy came to get rid of the flies. We came back the same afternoon to find that there were still some flies left and was just too tired to change room as we’re still tired from the previous night incident. We instead swatted all the remaining flies as it was getting into the bedroom. The next morning, as I replied to another email regarding a room transfer, my wife called my attention while brushing her teeth and it was brown water like coffee comingpit of the tap where we’ve been taking water to drink for the last few days and make coffee inside the room. I found out latervit was a boiler issue that they’re fixing. Not before I got stuck in the shower halfway with soap suds and shampoo that water suddenly turn cold and I had to end my shower in cold freezing water to get rid of the soap and shampoo. We had to check out

Transportation to the hotel: Uber/Lyft is available in NYC, however, they are restricted and the starting cost from the airport to the hotel for SHARED services start at $30. If you’re coming from the Newark airport, there’s an air train that will drop you off at Pennsylvania station which is less than a 10 minute walk from the hotel and will only cost you $13. If you choose to take an Uber/Lyft you can expect to spend at least $40 for SHARED rides. Location: Extremely good location. 10 minute walk to Madison Square Garden, subways, and restaurants. The museums, Canal Street, Broadway theaters, and Times Square take less than 15-25 minutes via the Metro. Check-In: The check-in process was quick and efficient. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. Upon arrival I was greeted with a glass of champagne and 2 free complimentary drinks at the hotel bar, which was adjacent to the hotel. The receptionist offered to upgrade my room, which would have been an additional hour wait, I declined the upgrade (I was way too tired to wait), but I appreciated the gesture. The room: The room was very modern, beautiful, and spacious for a NY hotel in Midtown. The room came equipped with a lot of clothing storage, a Keurig coffee maker, and a mini fridge. Now the negatives: Paper thin walls. A guest was staying in the room next to mine and it felt like our rooms were adjoined. I could hear her entire conversation as if she were standing 5ft away. And later, her and her comp
