Perfect place to stay to explore Baltimore
Lovely, friendly service, perfectly poached eggs for breakfast, immaculate room, and perfect location to walk to the Lewis Museum, the National Aquarium, and the harbor restaurants for crabs. Loved the courtyard.

A charming old townhouse. Its location makes it an excellent place to stay for visiting Baltimore. The staff was friendly and attentive to our needs. Nice, individualized breakfast served rather than the buffet style one usually finds. Highly recommended.

When you first pull up to the hotel you wonder what you are getting into. The front door is windowless, locked, and you ring the doorbell to get in. Inside, however, is a charming, well maintained, boutique hôtel with lots of character. The front desk was very helpful and directed us to a great Italian restaurant, Dalesio’s, within easy walking distance. What we also discovered is that the hotel is close to a ton of restaurants and waterfront activities. The only downside was that the weather was hot and we like our room on the cooler side at night. There is a supplemental window AC unit to the central air which did the job but meant we needed to keep those window drapes open and weren’t used to the AC noise. Overall we enjoyed our suite as it was a unique layout and immersed in the period.

Beautiful older property that is a part of history. Staff was friendly and helpful. A unique, off-the-beaten-path alternative to the modern and sterile mega hotels. Excellent breakfast served to my wife and I outdoors in a beautiful courtyard.
