Would recommend
Had such a lovely stay there. Beautiful, cosy pub and our room was located in a cute coach house positioned towards the pack of the property. The service was really attentive. I would stay again.

Nice Friendly Hotel
Overall, this is a very nice hotel situated in the centre of Oakham!
The room was big with a lovely big four poster bed.
All the staff were very friendly and helpful, and the restaurant was very nice and a good range of Gluten Free options both in the evening and for breakfast.
However, there were a couple of issues, the floor in the nice big bedroom creaked all-over the floor! As the hotel is on the main road there was some noise later in the evening. We did find out later that there were smaller rooms available in the courtyard that were quiet and creak free. Would we stay there again, probably but would enquire about the situation of the rooms beforehand.

Nice central hotel, excellent breakfast
Superb breakfast and friendly staff. Room 10 door curtains are too short and the window does not black out.

Excellent breakfast!
The room was perfectly comfortable, with an en-suite. The best part was probably the breakfast, which was excellent.
